ACETC delivers 6 Ice Green cold storage units to FTI
The government-owned Food Terminal Inc. (FTI) received from All Certified Equipment Trading Corporation (ACETC) six units of Ice Green cold storage container vans, which will boost FTI’s food storage capacity.
FTI received the six units of the Ice Green facilities on January 22, 2021 in the presence of FTI President and CEO, Mr. Ariel P. Buenaventura. Joining him are the Vice-President for Operations, Mr. John Gabriel Benedict C. Trinidad, Vice-President for Business Support, Mr. Julian H. Musico, and Special Assistant to the Chairman, Atty. Krystle L. Dansal.
ACETC General Manager and Vice President Mr. Bhong Amoroso was also on hand to turn over the six Ice Green cold storage container vans to FTI.
The six units of Ice Green cold storage container vans each had Kaiao diesel generator sets, which were also supplied by ACETC.
Amoroso said that like all products it distributes in the Philippines, ACETC studied very carefully the applicability of the Ice Green systems as well as Kaiao, of which the latter has been distributed by the company since 2011.
“Like all products we are currently distributing in the Philippines, ACETC also studied carefully the applicability of Ice Green cold storage systems, making sure they can withstand the country’s tropical climate,” Amoroso said.
He added that ACETC, through Ice Green and its generator set products, is ready to support the Philippine Cold Chain Roadmap that was unveiled by the government last January. The roadmap aims to increase the cold storage capacity in the country by 10 to 15 percent annually to serve the needs of various industries.
ACETC offers two Ice Green models: a 40-footer model that has a 3-hp compressor and capacity of 67.5 cubic meters; and a 20-footer with a 2-hp compressor and capacity of 28.8 cubic meters.
The Ice Green cold storage system is a “plug and play” or does not need any special external apparatus to be installed and operated.
Amoroso also assured Ice Green users are assured of quality after-sales and spare parts.
“ACETC has been known to be top providers of quality after-sales and spare parts, and we assure the same for the products that we recently introduce in the Philippines like Ice Green,” Amoroso said.
