MORE FEATURES

ENGINE FROM AGCO

The engine of the Massey-Ferguson Global Series offered by ACETC in the Philippines is the AGCO 4.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit, renowned for its reliability, ruggedness, and fuel economy. Maximum torque is achieved at 1,500 rpm, which results in less engine wear and tear, and better fuel economy because the engine does not need to rev to higher speeds.

12 X 12 TRANSMISSION
To give the Massey-Ferguson Global Series flexibility in undertaking heavy-duty field work and excellent towing capabilities, the series offers a 12 x 12 gearbox, or 12 speeds for forward and 12 speeds for reverse. Clutch operation is also hydraulic, which provides ease of operation.

COMFORTABLE CABIN FOR THE 5710
The 5710 offered in the Philippines by ACETC provides a comfortable cabin that reduces stress for the operator when working long hours in large farming operations.

OIL-IMMERSED BRAKES
Oil-immersed multi-disc wet brakes are standard in the Massey-Ferguson Global Series offered by ACETC in the Philippines. It is an enclosed system where oil is used to keep the braking system from overheating, preventing brake fade or the reduction in braking efficiency due to excessive heat buildup. This allows the Global Series models to undertake heavy-duty field work and towing in a safer manner. Also, the enclosed braking units are protected from dust and dirt, thus extending the life of the braking system

A PRODUCE OF EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND FUNDING
Massey-Ferguson invested more than six years of research and development, and $350 million from its parent company AGCO to develop the Global Series.
Massey-Ferguson also deployed multinational engineering teams who worked on a clean-sheet design for the Global Series, resulting in the series having around 90 percent completely new components. Also, more than 36,000 hours of lab and field-testing were conducted for the Global Series prototypes in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas
