The Massey Ferguson 6700 Series farm tractors are engineered from the ground up and tested in the harshest conditions around the world. The result is a more powerful, versatile and more long-lasting series of farm tractors that have unmatched lift capacity and capability to pull heavier implements.
And while it was designed for tough environments, the 6700 series provides ease of operation and maintenance for operators.
For the Philippine market, All Certified Equipment Trading Corporation (ACETC) is distributing exclusively the 6711, 6712 and 6713 models that are powered by the latest 4-cylinder engine developed by AGCO, and a versatile transmission system.
Engine from AGCO Power
A 4-cylinder, 4.4-liter diesel engine from AGCO Power provides the driving force for the Massey Ferguson 6700 Series. The engine features an intercooled turbocharger and high-pressure common rail direct fuel injection.
The power ratings of the AGCO Power units for the respective 6700 variants are: 6711 – 112 hp and 467 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm; 6712 – 122 hp and 490 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm; and 6713 – 132 hp and 540 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm.
The maximum engine speed of the 4.4-liter ACGO Power units is 2,200 rpm.
24-speed transmission
For versatility in operating in the field, the 6700 Series is equipped with a 12 x 12 Slide Shift transmission, or 12 speeds for forward and 12 speeds for reverse.
Choice of cabins
The 6700 Series also two cabin variants depending on the needs of operators: Essential Variant Cabin; and Essential Variant.
The Essential Variant Cabin has the following features: Air suspension swivel seat; Tilt and reach adjustable steering column; Ergonomic pillar with B-pillar ignition and controls; Curved rear quarter windows for superior visibility; External linkage controls on both sides; and 360 degree air conditioning vents.
The Essential Variant, while it is open space, also offers the operator excellent ergonomics: Semi-platform operator’s station with side-mounted gear selectors; Pendant pedals; Power Control Lever with comfort control and wet clutch; hydraulic brakes; Flat plarform; Declutch button on gear lever for clutchless gear changes; Extrenal linkage control on left side; and Tilt adjustable steering column.
